Enhancing Your Practice Through Restorative Exercise

Join Sarah DeGrave and learn how to use natural movement and alignment to increase your health and mobility on and off the mat. We will explore how to safely and effectively find and push our boundaries, as well as how to integrate the benefits of alignment, muscle lengthening, and body awareness into our everyday lives.
Together, we will break down some favorite yoga poses and deepen our understanding of:
• how our alignment impacts the effectiveness of the pose.
• how to work with our muscles instead of against them to see faster changes and less injury.
• how to bring the benefits of the poses into our everyday life.
• how focusing on alignment inside and outside of class can enhance our practice and our lives.
You will walk away with a greater understanding of your body and a list of simple tips and exercises to
help you cultivate a movement-rich lifestyle that supports and enhances your existing practice.
